make our way to Calais for the crossing arriving at the Hotel Buschausen on the outskirts of Aachen for dinner, bed and breakfast and on
Monday
carry on through Germany to the NH Hotel Stuggart Sindelfingen for our second overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast
Tuesday
Travel on through Germany, Austria and cross the Alps into Italy arriving for our evening meal at the Hotel Splendid Mayer situated in the historical town centre of Desanzano with great lakeviews.
FIVE NIGHTS IN RESORT WITH FOLLOWING CHOICE OF EXCURSIONS:
Take a scenic tour round Lake Garda passing through typically Italian villages visiting the most beautiful of the quaint little lakeside resorts such as Limone, Malcesine, and Sirmione for shopping and sightseeing
Visit the medieval hilltop town of Bergamo with its enchanting churches, palaces and spires. We’ll return along the vine route through the Franciaorta stopping at Lake Iseo with the largest island of any lake in Europe
Full day sightseeing and exploring the canals and piazzas in the romantic city of Venice – see the gondolas winding through the heart of the city, and past such famous sights as the Doge’s Palace, St Mark’s Cathedral and the magical Bridge of Sighs
Saturday
sadly it’s arrivaderci and we’ll retrace our journey to arrive back home early evening on Monday
