Monday
We leave for Eastbourne in the morning for the Cumberland Hotel (www.hotelcumberland.co.uk) in a wonderful position overlooking the promenade. Afternoon tea on arrival, we can spend the afternoon at leisure in Eastbourne, before returning to the hotel for our pre dinner sherry reception followed by dinner, bingo and a mini music quiz.
Tuesday
After a full English breakfast, spend some time shopping and sightseeing in comospolitan Brighton before returning for afternoon tea. After dinner, play Bingo in the Lounge, followed by an evening of variety as your host presents his very own Cabaret Show, a night of music magic and mayhem.
Wednesday
After a full English breakfast, join the excursion to the ancient town of Battle, then the historic hilltop town of Rye with a stop at the Devil’s Punchbowl for fantastic views over the marshes. After dinner, enjoy Bingo in the Ballroom followed by Cumberland Games Show Marathon Night including a night at the races – place your bets Ladies and Gentlemen.
Thursday
After a full English breakfast, spend the day in Eastbourne – discover the Waterfront and the shops with their mix of arts and crafts, unusual gifts, shoes and clothing. Then after dinner, it’s down to the Ballroom for Bingo followed by Party Time to sing dance and have fun, fun, fun!
Friday
On the way home we’ll stop off at Royal Windsor to have a look around the cobbled streets and return home.
